Atkinson Insurance Group (formerly Aloha Insurance Center) is a mid-sized insurance agency located in Portland, Oregon. We have been in the insurance industry since 1979, specializing in personal lines and life insurance.
The agency was originally established as Aloha Insurance Center. Mark Atkinson joined in 1982, became a partner in 1987, and purchased the agency as sole owner in 2005, renaming it Atkinson Insurance Group.
Kaity Blacksher joined Atkinson Insurance Group in May of 2005 and quickly found her passion in the independent insurance industry. Licensed in property-casualty, health, and life, she has focused primarily on personal lines and life insurance throughout her career. Starting as a producer, Kaity took on a wide range of roles within the agency before becoming president in 2019. In March of 2023, she and her husband and business partner, Todd Blacksher, purchased the agency from Mark, becoming co-owners and continuing the legacy of dedicated service that has defined Atkinson Insurance Group for over four decades.
